Don't know if this would matter but the car has an engine from another car. The donor engine came from a Seattle 1993 auto that was converted to 5 speed.(AFAIK they don't check smog in Seattle.) I suppose that would bring up the question about possibly a 9000 flywheel was substituted. We checked that already. I guess the guy should pull the clutch and check the flywheel orientation relative to the crank. Could he have a 9000 crank with a 900 flywheel?
