Went to start my car today when all of a sudden when I turned the ignition the ignition switch just lost tension. It is stuck in the ON/RUN position, so I had to pull the battery.
Now the ignition spins freely with no engagement whatsoever, left to right. What is it that likely broke? And ho long of a job am I looking at?
I have a parts car, so I could switch whatever need be out.
