Thanks guys. I read a bunch of your posts in the archives. There was one that stood out (not sure who's post it was) stating that he had never replaced the drier or any other components other than the bad one and never had a problem going from r12 to Envirosafe without replacing those components. So I guess I'll go the easy cheap route first.
I don't think the shop charge would be relatively much for an evacuation and leak test.?
A thought. Would a mighty vac pull enough vacuum to get the job done?
