Been using my 87 spg as a daily driver and if the temperature is under 70F the car starts and runs like a champ. As soon as the day warms up the blasted thing catches once then spudders and dies only to sit basking in the sun until an hour or two after sunset when the outside temp drops. I've run all the ignition tests in the Bentley service manual including the hall sensor and the ignition amplifier at everything was within specs. it almost seems like a vapor lock but I cant find any way to check and see if thats it? Strange thing is it doesn't matter whether its been driven,started, garaged, spoken to nicely or not, if its over approx 70F it just wont start.
