Wow...the shower drain tool is still getting press....coolio.

You could be leaking one of three different fluids in that area as RS mentioned I think two -- engine oil or transmission oil.

It could also be brake fluid from the clutch slave leaking. Or all of the above. Probably all of them.....

If you are seeing oil on the clutch cover, then it probably isn't engine oil -- that would be leaking out between the flywheel and the rear engine cover. It wouldn't be up on the clutch cover, but the transmission seal could leak there, and the brake fluid from the clutch could.

I think you need to take a piece of white paper and smear a dot of the oil on the clutch to the paper. Then take a dot from the transmission and a dot from the brake fluid reservoir and see which one looks like the smear from the clutch cover. Do your detective work, and you will find the answers......
