It is not easy to push that tubing back into the banjo. I have seen tools that are used to do the job but I was not impressed with how well they worked. So what I do is open my hand flat and lay the tube in the palm of my hand at the base of my fingers and close my hand around the tubing. You must make sure the tubing stays in the crease of your hand at the base of your fingers and that the crease folds around the tubing. This is the only way I can hold it tight enough to prevent the tube from moving. Then apply some fuel safe lube to the tube and push the tube onto the banjo using a twisting motion. I find that I have to take a few breaks and re position the tube in my hand. Again it is not easy but it can be done. Good luck
