Scanwest in Seattle can make you a key from the tumbler number. They have the "nibbler" tool that bits out the correct pattern from the code -- not cutting the key blank from a replicator. So, they make a 1st generation key just like it was when new. Save all the pieces from inside the tumbler as the wafers are different and the locksmith might need one size that is damaged.
My locksmith takes all the pieces I bring into him, and he can take a tumbler and fix it -- problem is that sometimes the tumbler number is different from the doors or hatch and then you have to make sure that a key isn't made from that tumbler part number.
