Random Question : If the hall sensor effectively measures crank position, why has no one just left a dummy distributor hooked up that gets turned by the crank to measure crank position at the dummy dizzy?
Just a thought... give people switch to the hall effects when the 2.1 crank sensor fails behind the balancer.. why not work backwards and get crank from the hall sensor.?
May be a stupid question.. just occurred to me.
If this worked would make the switch to T5 a wiring and screw driver exercise. with no oily work at all.
