When rebuilding calipers, greasing the internals makes the job a little easier to put back together and in theory helps prevent them from seizing. The caliper I rebuild most often is 87-back front calipers. However the grease "dissolves" and looks ugly in the fluid after a few months. I'm not sure it hurts anything but it sure look unpleasant.
So my question is: When you guys rebuild calipers, do you use grease when reassembling?
