thanks Goblin,
so i've left it at 4 psi base boost and with the solenoid connected i'm hitting 8-8.5 psi and i'm pretty happy with that level of power for this tank of gas anyway, which was in the car all winter at its outdoor storage place.
the car is definitely more fun to drive now!
i have driven 900's with the Mitsubishi turbo that spools faster but i guess i'm stuck with this old unit for now and i'll try and optimize it.
oh, i'm also going to have to somehow clean off the flywheel rust because i can't see squat for a timing mark! i also have a vacuum gun and will check the vac advance module. any suggestions on those two aspects is much appreciated.
Ciao for now,
Wayne
