And yes, my '90 does not seem to have been put together with the same care and attention as my '86 was. I had attributed that to Valmet vs. Trollhättan, but timing also makes sense. I have a wicked panel gap on my hood as well, and the windshield doesn't quite fit right. Almost like the car has been hit, but there's no evidence of any impact. I've been told the dies that were used to form the panels were old and worn out by the early '90s and so things just didn't fit together as well as they did back in the heyday. Or it's the drunken Valmet Finns. We may never know...
