update & question about CIS adjustment screw

Hello again if anyone still following. So obviously everything in a perfect world would go together and there is no interference issues with parts. So besides the intake boot being an absolute PITA to get on the valve, which I have 95% on. But it looks like the CIS adjustment tower is still keeping it from being perfectly seated and its causing it to be deformed and un happy to be finally seated. The tower seems way to close in any case and barely any room for the clamp strap.
Looking at other CIS distributors, I see some without the tower. Can i just remove the tower and plug the adjustment hole? This isn't the complete reason for all the trouble I believe getting the boot on in the first place. But it is now something that keeping me from success.
