I've driven the car a couple hundred miles since the crack repair and it ~seems~ to be holding. I sure hope so.
Next, the Saab parts company in France, RBM Performance, claims to have convertible windshields and gaskets in stock. I had emailed them but they're on holiday now and won't be back until the August 18th.
Then I talked to Hagerty and shared the RBM price with the agent and she said to find out the shipping and they'd pay the total, which turned out to be close to $1500. Okay then!
Then I got itchy... so I ordered the windshield and gasket from RBM a couple of days ago. Just couldn't help myself.
Today I logged in to the RBM site just to make sure my order was in (it is and is pending). Then I looked at the windshield page and it now says "Unavailable". So, either I ordered the last one. Or, they never really had them. Either way, that seems to be it. Not sure where else to go, other than used. And we know the story there.

Stay tuned.
