Shoud I Drive or Park when Check Engine Light going on?

The problem is O2 sensor failure. I have to wait for the net ordering for about 1-2 week shipment.
So , for this period , while I have a fault O2 sensor in my car , should I drive or park it right away. And if I drive , how about the fuel mixture , should I boost or it would damage the engine. If not , I have to borrow my wife car and it is about to bother her.
Thank you in advance for your advice.
