.. and I have recently had them on my 97 Aero, and earlier, a 280bhp Impreza WRX. Superb tyres - quiet, very progressive breakaway, excellent wet weather traction (my number one priority when buying tyres for a performance front wheel drive car).
They are also extremely good value compares to F1s, SO-3s, P-Zeros etc, and offer very, very similar performance. Up until recently, all V8 TVRs came with SO-2s, and recently SO-3s from the factory. I have just heard that the Tuscan S is now leaving the factory on T1-Ss, as they are now the prefered tyre. If it's good enough for a mental 200mph car, then it's good enough for me!
One warning - if you drive enthusiastically, they don't last too long... (though no shorter than the other premium brands).
