There should not be any play in the disc, at all. Sure, the flat-headed Torx screw and the guide pin hold the disc to the hub, but the wheel bolts firmly through the disc to the hub. If you can move the disc by hand with the wheel on, there's a serious problem. If you can move it by hand without the wheel on, don't worry.
Check for the "rubbing" by turning left then right at the speed where you hear it. If it goes away when you turn one way but gets louder when you turn the other time to order a new bearing. Just recently been there and done that. If you need to do the bearing let me know, I can give some practical tips.
