I'm with "zeke" here. The stock in-dash boost gauge is ridiculous. It's ONLY useful if you've checked with a calibrated gauge so you KNOW what the various positions on the gauge are.
To give you an example, my car has base boost at the beginning of solid red... Max boost with modified ECU is 15.00 hours... Yes, exactly horizontal. In-dash boost gauges cannot be compared between cars or used for diagnostic purposes unless one has already checked the car with a proper gauge.
