Had to get Midnight the blinking cursor infatuated cat off the Saab book. Tapani, the fan relays of the 2 spd type are shown to source power via a 4.0 mm2 wire from the 75 amp link E1. You should have the unused relay socket wired back to E1 in your car also. (?) Can you either insert another female connector into the plastic of the relay base or splice over the output wire to go out to your extra lamps? Now for controlling the relay: ground for the new relay coil should already be going to G2 grounding lug on frame by factory wiring. If not it needs to go there on a .5mm2 wire from pin85 on relay and 5 of socket. Pin 1 of socket and 39 of relay needs to come yellow wire going into socket # 85 or relay # 86 of the headlamp HI/LO Relay (long one) socket. This comes from the headlamp dash switch in it's full CW position. This will engage relay at 'Headlamp On' regardless of HI or LO beam selection. If you want relay on only on high beams tap onto 56a of Hi/Lo Beam Relay which is A2 on this relay socket and goes to 4 of filament monitor socket on a blue wire 1.5mm2 There may be a wire (blue .5mm2) from A2 of Hi/Lo Relay also going to 4 of spare relay socket which is the coil input.
Does this make sense?
