I think replacing parts would be a waste of money, especially the axle joint. There is no reason to suspect the inner driver unless you see globs and globs of grease around the cup. If the cup has been badly dented, it may leak grease, but otherwise it is very unlikely to become a problem. Apparently grease leakage was much more common w/ 900s, esp. on the passenger side.
The vibration could be anything. Driveshaft, other front end problem, ignition, mounts, etc. are all possibilities. Pay an Indie to check it out. A good Indie can rule things out quickly because he knows the car.
