I can't even count the crazy drives I've done in my '87 9kT, all with over 230k on the odo (and that's in miles.) Particularly fond memories include driving from Arizona to North Carolina stopping only for gas and food, which took about 36 hours with a friend and I alternating. Or driving from the Florida Keys to NC for 17 hours straight, several in Miami traffic jams. Or the drive from LA to Las Vegas in 100+ temps (as indicated by the world's tallest thermometer none-the-less.) Or drving 10k in a month, which averages out to over 330 miles a day. She's only broken down on me twice: once a vacuum hose clip came loose and shredded the serpentine belt (no prob as I had a spare) and once a just a couple of weeks ago when the overboost switch descided to go bad on me a couple of miles from home (which I consider the first proper breakdown.)
Ah, sweet memories. I love my Saab. Sorry for the rambling!
