2.0i 130hp 128lbft
2.0 LPT 150hp 160lbft
2.0 Turbo 160-175hp 192-203lbft (depending on year and perhaps market)
2.3i 150hp 160lbft
2.3 LPT 170hp 196lbft
2.3 Turbo (Garrett turbo) 200hp 248lbft (some variants had 220hp or 225hp with this turbo)
2.3 Turbo (Mitsubishi turbo) 225hp 258lbft (Manual Aero and last of the manual CSEs).
3.0i V6 210hp (Don't know the torque figure) - the GM Opel engine (later lightly turbocharged in the 9-5).
Some of the more torquey engines had their torque reduced somewhat when fitted with automatic transmission.
The main difference between the 2.0 and 2.3 engines is that the 2.3 has a longer stroke (90mm vs 78mm on the 2.0). Both have a 90mm bore. The 2.0 B202 engine was inherited from the 900 and did not have balance shafts. All 2.3 engines are of the B234 type, and have balance shafts. The updated 2.0 B204 engine was introduced later (1994, I think), was based on the B234 and had balance shafts.
As far as slow is concerned, if I had to give up my Aero for something "slow", I could do a lot with a 2.0LPT that handled well (as 9000s do when well-maintained).
There's little more boring than driving in a straight line, even if you are going fast.
