I have the same problem with the noise at revs only. I installed the saab "cheap quick fix" secondary damper in the fuel return line. It had little or no effect on the noise.
However it only cost $13.00 at the dealer and took about 10 minutes to install, so it might be worth a try.
The reason it costs ONLY $13 at the dealer is because it couldn't cost more than 10 cents to make. The secondary damper is literally just a hollow (yes completely hollow), flat, metal cylinder about 2" in diameter and 1/4" thick with a nipple on either side and two spring clamps for the fuel line.
The guy at the dealer was talking about the secondary damper dealing with a noise at IDLE. I think this secondary damper was actually meant to solve a different problem than you or I are having (that probably being the real damper has failed).
The real damper is over $100 (perhaps more) at the dealer, but is probably the only real solution to this problem.
If you find a better solution, please let us all know!
Good Luck.

The original damper is an actual device with a diaphragm inside
