will probably be costly to do. I had two broken studs removed with the head out and that cost $90 US. As for driving it with a leak I wouldn't recommend it. You can try to compensate by making sure all the other bolts are tight. I was able to get a good seal on my 87 9kT this way, but get the broken stud out as soon as you can and a new one in. Good luck.
