Lu is right. Who is responsible for the warranty- Roberti or the extended warranty company?
I bought a '92 CDT from Roberti in Jan '01 with an extended warranty. They said everything on the car worked. When I picked it up one of the door locks was not working. They promptly sent me a new lock motor. Last summer the AC system went down. It turned out to be the line to the dreaded rear AC. This cost about $800 to fix. I could not use the extended warranty for this because even though it is the 48 month Gold Package, it only covers lubricated systems on the car. If you read the fine print it covers things like main engine components, transmission, and a few other major lubricated parts. The AC and lots of components on the car are not covered.
Personally I don't think I could go back to them for problems on the car after initially taking delivery with everything working at that time. After all it is a 9 or 10 year old car. You can't expect it to be perfect.
I don't know how many miles your car has, but it seems like around 90k to 120k you can expect a whole plethora of problems to surface, and once they are fixed, you could be good for tens of thousands of miles again.
Good Luck, Richard
