Hi everyone. Your help is needed please.
I have a 2.0 turbo 9000 with DI/APC. At idle the revs fluctuate slightly (a gentle oscillation of the rev counter needle about +/- 10rpm or more around standard idle) which I assume is the IAC valve regulating airflow. However, as the revs hit the lower point I can sometimes feel engine vibration transmitted through the steering. Occasionally when sitting in traffic and idling merrily away the revs will stumble slightly, almost like a very slight misfire - this is clearly audible as a miss in the exhaust note.
The DI cassette is brand new (less than 500 miles on it) and the plugs were replaced at the same time - NGKs gapped at 1.0mm. Any ideas as to the possible cause of the stumbles? I recently cleaned out the trottle body and IAC valve (they were pretty clean anyway), the air filter is new. I'm thinking maybe O2 sensor or temperature sensor on the inlet pipe.
Your help would be very much appreciated
Thanks!
