I have no dealer within walking distance, and no second car, so when a job has become complicated, I have occasionally had to have my local dealer (10-15 miles away) mail the parts, paying by credit card (they charge postage at cost, which is usually insignificant). It takes a day or so, but I live within walking distance of work and if it rains, it just reminds me to appreciate my car. I don't know whether this is a general service or just something they do for regular customers. I suspect they would do it for anyone with a valid credit card and delivery address and some idea of what they wanted.

The only drawback is not being able to bring in a part to compare if they are not sure which one you need (only ever been a problem with some turbo flange studs I bought).
