It probably isn't too bad...

Most likely you've bent the tie rod or just the tie rod end. If you're lucky you'll just need an alignment. The tie rod end is cheap and easy to replace, the tie rod itself is a bit worse. Worst care is you'll need to replace the control arm. This isn't too bad either (I managed to change mine in a dirt lot in rural Canada.) I'd recommend getting a used one as it will be dirt cheap. A used wheel will also be very cheap. If the tire is damaged, of course you'll need to replace that too.
Pull the wheel and take a look. If the large metal arm at the bottom is bent, then go ahead and get a good used one from a salvage yard along with a wheel and take it to a good indy or front end shop. If the control arm looks good, just take it to the shop and they should be able to sort it out. Probably won't be too expensive at all. An hour labor for the tie rod, two for the control arm I'd guess plus the alignment.
Good luck,
Craig
