This part of the EDU is a backlighted LCD. There are a total 4 bulbs that have similar twist lock mounts. They can only be accessed by removing the instrument cluster. You should probably replace all four as well as the ones for the instrument cluster illumination blubs, turn signals, SRS, etc. at the same time.
Because of their mounts, the EDU illumination bulbs are easiest to come by from SAAB. They are also the same as the ones used on the ACC controller. They are about $5-$6 a piece from SAAB. The others in the instrument cluster can be obtained from most automotive parts supply houses, although it may be difficult to match up the wattages exactly unless you get them from SAAB also. Those are about a buck a piece.
With a little effort, it is possible to use bulbs from Radio Shack to retofit the mounts for the EDU bulbs. Again, the wattages will not be an exact match. The retrofits tend to be higher wattages (brighter and hotter) than the originals. For this reason, I would recommend using the stock replacements for the backlighted EDU LCD.
