Only the 1986 turbos were oil cooled T3's. From 1987 through 1989 the 9000 used water cooled T3's. 1990 was the first year for T25's (water cooled) and it's turbo is different from the T25 that was used on the 2.3 liter balance shaft engine. Of course, the Aero has a higher performance Mitubishi turbo instead of the T25.
