I had a similar problem with my 9KS. remember that you have ACC. the compressor creates additional demand on the engine and cooling syst. the a/c aux. fan forward of the condenser should always be on. this cools tremendously. I cured my problem by replacing the water pump with OEM, thermostat, and even replaced the temp. sender for the guage to ensure an accurate reading. now it never goes beyond half way. plus I pull a boat on the hot weekends here in south florida.
