I have two 90 9000 Turbos, one has 124K and the other 184K. Both of them had broken motor mounts. Both have noisy timing chains. Both leak oil from the valve cover gasket. In general they are very solid cars. I have 5 speeds in both. The rust that Jim mentions is present on both cars and in the same places (lower doors). The air conditioning is another thing to check out. Both of mine work for now, but they are apparently very exepensive to repair or upgrade. From what I gather reading the boards and my experience with these, the 90's are a good year if you have a manual transmission. The 91's get the 2.3L engine, but the 2.0 is very quick and solid.
