Not all Aeros are abused, mine being an example. Yeah, I punch it occasionally, but it's never seen a hole-shot or power shift, and only a few jaunts up to 6k RPM.

A switch doesn't elude TCS woes, but only disables it 'til you start the car again. As I understand it, the limp-home woes, etc., are still there with or without the switch. The way to avoid problems is to avoid TCS.

I don't think LPT's have boost gauges in the dash.
