After seeing many pictures of the "mesh" grille on the bulletin board, I was compelled to see what it would look like on my 1988 silver 9000turbo. Everyone was saying use the aluminum mesh because it wont rust. I thought that it might be easier to use the plastic gutter gaurd. I went to the local VALU and bought a 6" X 20ft roll or plastic gutter gaurd for $.99 on sale. The six inch width was perfect because i didnt have to cut any height, just length. I also bought a can or silver gloss spray-paint for $1.99 and some very small zip ties. Total for job was about $4.00 including tax. I knocked out the little plastic rivits on the grille that hold in the black fins, cut all the fins with a saw on my swiss army knife and triple coated the black gutter gaurd with silver spray paint, put the "mesh" into the chrome frame, pushed in the black frame and tie strapped on the black part. All in all it took me about 20 mins very easy to do and makes your car look much better in my opinion. IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO SEE PICTURES, PLEASE EMAIL ME AND I WILL FORWARD THEM TO YOU.
