I have an 87 9000 turbo not tweaked at all. I know that every car I pull up next to at a light doesn't want to race...... But when that Mustang jumps, and you get the itch...... making them pretend they didn't jump is the greatest! I love my Saab! I want to hear a few stories about smokin "those that don't know"
Here's a good one to start it off
Scene: Pennsylvania turnpike(interview) 6:00am - 6:30am spring morning. Not late, but cutting it close........
Personally I feel that if I pay to drive on a highway, I drive. So I'm floating about 80 gunning to 100, just having a little fun (you know). While coming down form a good sprint, a BMW 733i absolutley explodes from behind me. I mean not there 1 nano second ago, now passing me. What, mmmmm, no? So I sped up and matched around 90 - 95 a little here, little there. Who ever it was, they got pissed I wanted to roll with em. Boom! BMW gone...... probably 120-130, at top. I only had two more exits to go so I floated behind him, just to let him know I was there. Of course wouldn't you know it, he gets off at the same no name back road drag strip exit I get off at. It is on now!!! There's about a six mile rolling straight started by a two lane stop light. :) I pull up next to the beamer, not looking at the driver(I wonder if he looked at me)!@#!!GREEN! I layed every single turbo-charged horsepower on that pavement and took off! Yes the beamer did too! I had that beamer eating Saab Ass! Straight in to fifth! I can only imagine how mad he was when he realized he spent way too much money, only to be dusted by an older car! He pushed right up behind me to 130!!!!!!!!! Then layed off (because the tail between his legs was slowing him down!)
I just had my Saab worked on (tune up) and put new 16's with high performance tires on(Smooth ahoooth)There are very few things that feel as good as blowin away just about every car on the pike! Hey share your latest story, we all love to hear them.
