Some compressors have a thermal switch that is electrically in series with the clutch solenoid. If you made the measurement at the (typically) yellow wire that disappears beside the clutch pulley, then you have an open in the solenoid itself. The clutch can be replaced, but you will have to search the BB for possible suppliers, depending on the unit you have. You might get lucky if you go the route of removing the clutch and find a broken wire or slip ring contact that can be repaired. I've never taken the clutch off of a 9K compressor, but on the Seiko that I disassembled on one of my 900s, I remember that it was not that easy to pull it off the shaft. Maybe something for an A/C shop, but,realistically, you might have to wind up replacing the entire unit. Good luck...
