There is nothing special about Aeros that makes them require special lubricants. any good quality oil will work as long as it meets the requirements of your owner's manual.
Oil isn't the problem it is acids and dirt accumulation from your operating environment and driving habits.
1 Use a high quality oil filter - not that Wally World special
2 Use the proper weight oil for your climate.
3 Change frequently if your trips are shortor in dusty areas
4 Change less frequently if you are on the road a lot
5 Change each season normally will probably be ok for normal usage
6 Change more frequently if you are in a cold climate and make short trips
7 If your car is using synthetic and has no leaks then stay with it change less frequently but change filter at least every 4-5000 miles
8 If you are using fosil oil then stay with it or expect some leaks later on if you change to synthetic. You may consider a blend oil and get away with it.
Your second question: yes, there are several mods and chips but usually reliability is inverseely proportional to the performance increase so why are you worried about your oil? Try some exhaust tuning for a little boost and more sound. If your Aero is automatic forget it and just enjoy what you have!
