Dunno if yer Car is identical to mine ('87) but I suspect it is as far as the lower control arms at least.
The A Arm seems to be located fore-aft by the aluminum bushings at either side of the front A Arm bearing. The rear A Arm bearing is only along for the ride... replacing these 'bushings' (what the label on the Saab package sez) relocated my A Arms forward by approx 1/4".. dramatically improving the handling/stability. It took me a half hour to replace the first one and ultimately 10 mins for the final one... It's actually v easy once you've done one.. changing the Air filter is a huge job (for me;-) by comparison.. Good luck.
