I know i have asked questions about boost time and time again. I'm just still feeling my way around what is correct and what is incorrect.
I have noticed that:
in 3rd gear accelerating from low revs, initial pickup is fantastic (impreza wrx couldnt keep up) - boost went to top end of staggered line (good).
As the revs went very high (maybe should have changed gear sooner!Doh!), by the time revs were around 5.5-6.5k the boost had dropped to almost 2/3 yellow (base boost?) (and the impreza went sailing past.....)
Ok is this correct?Did I rev too high?Should it not do this?
In 4th gear it isn't quite as bad, but still happens and in 5th gear it didnt seem to do this at all (went from one end of staggered line to other end - and car was very bloody quick), although i did bottle out at 130mph (so not sure what revs we were at).
Again I apologise for the repetition of my posts
