Please learn from my mistake. i picked up a 92 9000t very cheap. this car, however, needed a turbo, complete exhaust system and all motor mounts. while waiting for my jt system, i figured i had some time so i sent the turbo to turbochargers.com in texas to be rebuilt with a starting price of $275.00. the best i could do around here (southern new hampshire) was $580.00 so i figured i had room for another $300.00 in repairs and i would at least be even. they received the turbo 5/30 and promptly notified that the repair was going to cost $780.00 or i could get a factory refreshed garrett for $1200.00.great deal huh? i told them i could get one for $580.00. they said no way, impossible so i said to mail the turbo back to me. one week.. no turbo so i called and never received a call back. two weeks...no turbo called again and they said they will get right on it. three weeks... no turbo...another call not responded to. end of third week..finally one guy says, "hey its on the shelf ready to be shipped, i'll get right on it." four weeks later and now i have my turbo in pieces. i hate them. any similar experiences??
