seal or a bound up TC relief valve if it came on suddenly. but me thinks your transmission has a failed piston seal driving the A clutch. as the transmission warms it bypasses too much fluid to engage. It could also be other things. I would have a pressure reading taken at the pressure ports but I don't offer much hope without a tear down and a look see at clutches and hydraulic seals. It is possible a spring failed in the valve body but usuallt this is not the mode of failure. Temperature related problems and responses is a bypass of a seal and failure to clamp or shift. You have nothing to lose but you may try changing fluid and installing some Lucas Fluid Enhancer. it adds a thickening agent to the fluid and may help. shot in dark! good luck sometimes a good flush will give some relief to tired transmissions but that is a 70 buck bill!
