considering purchase of 96' 9kCS

Hi. I would like some advice. I can get a solid deal on a 9000CS 1996 auto with 115k miles. I originally wasn't considering purchasing a 9k (I was looking at a 900 V6 on their lot, with I love, but find myself considering the 9K as well now, especially with questions considering the V6 reliability) I don't know the maintenance history of this car-it is at the local Saab dealer and they don't know anything about it. It is in decent shape, not great (broken front lenses, tires were bald when the car was brought in and have since been replaced, radio antenna is gone) all of which the dealer offered to fix before I walk out the door with it. Makes me believe that the car probably didn't get enough love. Anyways, what is the overall reliability on this year's model, and what if the car was not perfectly maintained previously (I have no way of knowing either way)? The car drove very well, but I want a reliable Saab as well as a well-driving car. Any suggestions as what to check, typical maintenance costs per year, anything else that can help me with my purchase? I would appreciate it very much!
