We take our cars to this older guy because he's usually very easy going. HE does have his quirks though. Like he nitpicked my spg over washer fluid but never jacked it up to look for a catalytic converter! They don't test emissions here so you'd think they would at least look for it. I don't want to kill the golden goose by arguing with him, so maybe I'll kindly tell him that I called the dealer myself to order the "clutch starter switch" and the dealer told me there is no such thing. Then I'll say I'm willing to buy one if he'll call the dealer and find one for me?? As it turns out we're safe for a few months on the inspection. The inspeciton doesn't expire until october but she needed the inspection receipt for a new military base sticker. She was able to talk them into walking out and looking at the sticker on the windshield. This is almost as bad as when the guy smoking outside a parts store asked if my spg was electric.
