I got a new compressor a few months back, it has worked works well up to now.
Now, as we got summer temps here in Austria 95 F I noticed a few drops of ac oil at high pressure relief valve of the Sanden 7H15 compressor. Wiped it off, but it had returned in a couple of days. I thought the problem is head pressures rising at idle so I got a condenser fan that was missing. I haven't noticed any oil at the HPRV anymore. Shouldn't the high pressure cutout switch stop the system before HPRV opens?
I also noticed that the suction line is sweating all the way back to the compressor at 75 F ambient, is this normal or is the system overcharged? How about the TXV, the suction temperature fluctuates constantly by a few degrees. The ACC also notices the fluctuation and tries to compensate it by moving a flap which makes a fluctuating sound in the air flow.
Finally, I drove up to a mountain with a pretty steep climb. The AC was on, both fans running, but the gauge was approaching 10 o'clock. Is the condenser creating so much heat that the radiator isn't effective. If so, is this normal or something wrong with AC ?
Sorry for a long message.
