... but was having problems with my Aero not holding alignment anyway, so couldn't check it. These problems appear to have been a mixture of sloppy bushes and my local tyre shop not being able to operate the high-tech equipment they have.
I'll try it again. I had already done the maths and produced a scale for the rear wheel hubs calibrated in mm toe-in. I was referencing from the flat part of the wheel rims (not the edge, which often gets bent). The tyres might be OK as a reference, provided that they are all the same. I wouldn't be too happy using them. However, the results appear to show that your alignment is "better" in some way. I've found that more toe-in gives better stability and better traction on corners (within limits, of course), while less toe-in makes the steering feel jittery and oversensitive.

Regarding the Volvo feeling more steady, bear in mind that the poly bushes you have fitted will make the steering more sensitive and make it feel less steady.
