Grounds and bulbs Posted by Ari [Email] ![]() ![]() In Reply to: Right Indication and Hazard Lamp not work sometimes !!!, Pat98, Tue, 23 Jul 2002 20:36:45 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Make sure the right bulbs are in there. Pull the bulbs out and check the number on the bulb against what it's supposed to be (in the manual). Make sure the contacts on the bulb and the socket are clean and bright - a little Scotchbrite does wonders.
If that doesn't clean it up, then chances are you've got a bad ground somewhere. That's unusual for a car as new as yours, but what the heck, things happen. Follow the wiring harness for the lights, and look for a point where all the black wires come to a ground point. Unbolt it, clean all the contacts with Scotchbrite or fine sandpaper, and bolt back together.
Good luck!
