Feeds ECU As Well

The speed sensor feeds the ECU as well thru the harness. Zeke has described where to tap into the speedometer circuit behind the dash and I would think that might be the best place on the assumption that the ECU feed is before the instrutment. Bottom line, if you screw with the ECU feed and mess it up somehow, the car won't idle coming off a higher RPM run (i.e. like coming to a stop at a light). Stupid design but that's the way it is.
