... be aware that there are variations and they all work differently. I borrowed one for my Aero when I thought I had BPC problems (turned out not to be) and even though it was from a 2.3T, it didn't work the same. Spool-up was very slow and I didn't quite get full boost.
They all have the same part number on which I assume they are all based, but they have two letters stamped on them - it's obvious that it's done after moulding. This seems to denote a modification state. For example, there may be a brass restrictor in one of the pipes or, as in the case of my Aero, one of the pipes may have been drilled out to give a larger internal diameter.
It's also possible, I suppose, that there is an "original" type that doesn't have the two letters stamped on it.
Look for the two letters and try to find one with the corresponding letters. Post the letters here in case someone can help with a loan valve, and to add another piece to the BPC valve jigsaw. If you can't find a valve with the same letters, note the pipes: does any have a restrictor in it? Do any look larger or smaller than the others in internal diameter? That sort of thing.
DIs come in two types too, believe it or not. The early ones had a wired-in cable, while the later ones have a connector on the unit. To fit a later one (the only type now available) in place of an earlier one, you need a wiring harness. If the DI has ever been replaced, chances are that you now have the necessary harness.
