I did this to my '97 9000CS. The computer and BPC valve with plumbing cost me around $300 from a junkyard. It takes about 30 minutes to do the conversion and bumps the output from 170 hp to 200 hp. Very noticeable and very fun!

You can also go for an aftermarket computer, but they are expensive ($900 or so). The extra 40 hp (240 hp is the claim they make) is tempting, but the cost and the potential damage to drivetrain components dissuaded me.
