Uh oh. As I mentioned the other night, the little car on my dash of my '94 9000 CSE is lighting up now and again, with the little headlights lighting up on it as well. To be more specific in the hopes of finding some advice, when I started the car last night, I sat idling for a few minutes, and here's what I noted:

The little car on the dash was lighting (with the headlights lit as well), but it was fading and brightening, fading and brightening, with each little "chug" of the engine. The AC was trying to work (set on AUTO), and it too was "chugging" back, sort of like faltering a little bit.

I apologize for my lack of appropriate terminology, but it's the best I can do at the moment. I don't know how else to describe it except to say that it's almost as though the battery was pulling back everything, then it would come to life a bit more, then it would falter...it never stalled, and when I actually started to drive, it all stopped happening, and everything went along as normal.

It's only recently, however, that I've started to see the little car light up. A few days ago I was offered some kind advice on this board pertaining to that little car and what it means. So now I'm wondering what the sort of activity I've just feebly described, in conjunction with that little car, might mean.

THank you all so much. I get so much crap...rolled eyes...he doesn't listen to me...when I talk to the dealer. I get GREAT advice here. When I repeat it to him, he laughs at me and rolls his eyes. All because I don't have a you-know-what. :)

Thanks for any help you might be willing to offer...I'm hoping this is nothing major, but I really am concerned.

Happy weekends to you all,

Julia
