Wierd clutch problem (long)

Hello all,
My 89 9ks is having a recurring problem of air entering the clutch hydraulic system. I replaced the clutch master cylinder last Friday and pressure bled the system. It worked well. Sunday I drive from Michigan to Des Moines Iowa with no problem. Tuesday morning I notice brake fluid under the firewall near the clutch master is. I pop the hood and pressure from somewhere (accumulator?) had pushed some fluid out of the vent hole in the res. I figure no big deal. When I start the car the clutch pressure point is much lower than before and suddenly no clutch pedal at all. I get out look at the res and the fluid is lower but not too low. I get in and the pedal is back but low. I drive a short way to Walmart for clutch bleeding stuff. I pressure bleed the thing in the parking lot with tire air and it works. Today, Wednesday, I went to take off and after 2 or 3 shifts, no pedal.
So I bleed it again and it works until I go down the road about 3 or 4 shifts and no pedal. Also bleeding the system has been touchy, it seems to be going well and then air is streaming through the bleed pipe tubin and the level of the brake fluid is not below the hose that goes to the clutch master. The air does not appear to be displacing the res fluid and going through the feed tube, clutch master, etc. If I let it sit and then go easy on the air to bleed it, air and fluid come out and I have pedal again, at least for a few shifts. I am being as breif as possible, but I want you all to have all the facts.
Where is the air getting into the system? The only leak has been the pressure pushing fluid back up through the vent hole.
Any ideas?
Thanks, Palmer
